From Draft to Final Frame: The Order Work Crosses This Table

October 13, 2026 · AiPronApp Journal

Fictional 29-year-old woman, chestnut hair in long polished waves, warm fair skin, groomed brows, defined cheekbones and a calm confident gaze; pale ice silk slip dress with slate lace trim and a sheer dove-grey robe slipped off one shoulder, seated at the drafting table with a completely blank sheet before her, soft cool evening light, no text anywhere, editorial photograph

Work crosses this table in one direction, like a drawing moving from sketch to finished sheet, and the order is where the savings live. Stills prove her. The editor repairs the stills. Swaps carry the proven face. Video moves the proven still. Upscalers finish what every earlier stage has passed.

Skipping a stage does not save its cost; it moves the cost, with interest, to the stage where the failure is finally noticed. A character first discovered in video — the most expensive seat at the table — is a plan drawn at final-sheet prices. A face first tested inside a whole set of swaps is a plan error multiplied by the set.

The draftingtable card is what makes the order safe: whatever the stage, the same five lines are pasted word for word at the head of the brief, and the result is judged against the card before anything else about it is discussed. A result that fails the card is a cull at that stage, not a keeper to be finished at the next.

Draw once, work in order, finish last. The table has never needed a second rule.
